Education & Training: Self-taught in tattooing. Attended The Gauntlet in New York to hone his Body Piercing Craft. He learned how to produce handmade high quality body jewelry in medical grade stainless steel, titanium, gold, and niobium. He was the first in the Triad area to offer custom body jewelry to his clients.

Artistic Background: Attended photography school to enhance creativity and artistic perspective.
Personal Story: Byron opened Earth’s Edge Tattoo & Piercing in 1993, followed by Kingpin Studio in 1997 and Earth’s Edge Too in 2002. His focus has always been on creating a clean, welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable expressing their ideas through art. Whether working with vibrant colors or bold contrasting blacks, Byron’s goal is to make every client happy through craftsmanship and collaboration.
